RECITAL VIDEO
Our 35th Spring Recital “Celebrate! Back to Broadway!” will again be recorded by Legleiter Video
Productions. They do a marvelous job, with extremely high quality equipment for an exceptional recording.
DVD’s are “chaptered” making it easy to find a particular dance when viewing.
Cost of the DVD is $35.00 for our single show performance.
Orders are taken at recital and shipped directly to you by Legleiters. DVD’s take a while to produce, they
usually arrive 1st of July.
Please, do not give me an order for them, I will probably misplace it. Order them at recital.
I do not prohibit you from taking your own video, but you must do so from your seat. No tripods will be allowed.
Truly, I’d rather you enjoyed watching your dancer perform and let someone else take the video than have you
watch her dance through the viewfinder. That’s why I hire Legleiters!
RECITAL FLOWERS
We will again be offering beautiful rose bouquets for $5.00. These are very large single roses in a variety of
colors with baby’s breath and foliage in a cellophane sleeve. No need to pre-order, just purchase in the lobby.
RECITAL ETIQUETTE
Front Row is Reserved for our Senior’s Families. Please respect the tape.
Please show your appreciation with your applause at the end of a dance and when a dancer does something
wonderful such as a series of turns. Shouting a dancers name is distracting to them and more appropriate to a
basketball game than a dance recital.
NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY – It’s distracting and dangerous for your dancer and really, the flash only
illuminates the row in front of you, doesn’t reach the stage at all.
Please remain in your seat during dances. The dancers will be taken care of in the bandroom, there is no need
for parents to traipse back and forth. If you must leave, please do so between dances. The only exception to
this is are the Bitties who will be taken to the auditorium after their dance, parents may meet them in the lobby,
then watch until finale.
Central’s rule is : No food or drink in auditorium. If you must have a drink with you, bottled water with a screw
cap would be the exception. Last year, someone spilled a large McDonalds coke from the top of the seating, it
ran down all the rows and was a big mess. Apparently, they thought the rule did not apply to them.
