Our Competition Teams perform under the name StarFeet Academy
StarFeet Academy is a commitment based competition team.
SFA dancers choose to compete. This is a unique and different approach from
most dance studio's where competition teams are chosen by audition.
Vivette's Dance Studio chooses to bring out the best in each dancer rather than
choosing only the "best" dancers.
SFA dancers agree to a year long commitment of rehearsals and performances,
and take team classes as well as ballet and jazz classes. Competition routines
are learned in the summer and fall, and are performed throughout the year at
various venues, such as area nursing homes, and ball games.
We are committed to attend Talent On Parade Regionals in Oklahoma City in
January, Odyssey in Wichita, and Talent on Parade in May.
For 2008-98 we have 4 teams: Mini Stars and Rising Stars, coached by Miss
Vivette and Junior Stars and Senior Stars coached by Miss Rachel Bouza
