August Newsletter - 2009 Hi all! It’s Miss V just checking in!  I hope you have had a fabulous summer and are ready to get back into the “swing” of things with school and dance. We had an interesting summer with dance and technique classes, learning new skills.   Miss V's shoulder surgery kept her at home part of the summer with recovery and rehab. She has regain much of her "reach" and continues to work with the determination of a dancer! Miss Bethany kept dancers busy with twice a week intensive classes. Younger dancers were able to experience several different teachers until Miss V was able to return. Our Tea-Party Ballet Mini Camp was a blast! We learned the "Tea Party Ballet" dance, made our place mats, centerpieces and jewelery to wear to the last day tea party featuring pink treats. mmm! Hannah Reed was the winner of the August 1st Registration drawing of $20.00 in dance wear credits. Rhyanna Bruner was the winner of the August 15th Registration drawing of $15.00 in dance wear credits. $10.00 drawing on Sunday April 23rd after dance wear sale. $5.00 drawing on Sunday April 30th after dance wear sale. EVERY REGISTERED DANCER WILL RECEIVE A FREE DANCE BAG  To continue our 35th Anniversary Celebration I'm giving every dancer their choice of the special commemorative dance bags the 1st week of classes. FREE DANCE CLASS: Thursday Aug. 20th, we are offering a free "try it" dance class. 5:00 - 3 yr olds 5:30 - 4 yr olds 6:00 - 5 yr & 6 yr olds. Miss Dawn will be available to help with parental questions.  Tell your friends! OPEN HOUSE AND DANCE WEAR SALES: Saturday and Sunday Aug 22,23, 29,30 1-5pm.  Stop by to order shoes and dance wear, our new 35th Anniversary shirts will be available to order, and eat a few munchies. Miss Dawn or Miss Sarah will be present to help with ordering, registration and other needs.
