November 22 Newsletter Vivette's Dance
Hi all - Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving! I know that your holiday, like mine, will not be the one we are used to but we can still be thankful for all the good things in our lives.
Classes this week -
Monday - I will hold classes on Zoom for the Starlets and the Galaxy Monday class.
For the Starlets I plan to read them a story and do some simple stand in one place movement activities. I know it’s difficult for this age but we’ll try.
My Monday Galaxy class - we will review our choreography and the skills we are working on as best we can on Zoom. I’m so sorry for Tianna who has been Zooming class the last two weeks and was really looking forward to being back in the studio!
Tuesday - Comets and Galaxy Tue - class time as usual. We’ll go over choreography and skills as space allows. We’ll have to skip cartwheels this week!
Adult yoga and ballet class has opted not to Zoom and we will either find a good time to make up the class or I’ll issue a credit.
Thursday is Thanksgiving and we of course planned for the night off.
I was glad to see most of the Meteors class on Zoom on the 19th, we reviewed our dances and will move forward when we meet again
None of the Constellations were able to attend class so we’ll have a catch up and review day when we are back together.
Because of this darn Quarantine I was not able to measure all the dancers so I’ll get that done next week.
I’ve finished picking all my songs for our Spring recital and I’m excited to get started on them in January. Our theme is Fun in 21 and I’ve picked some fun songs!
Wishing all my dancers and their families a wonderful-even-if-socially-distant Thanksgiving.
I’m so thankful for your continuing support and faith.
