December 3 Vivette’s Dance Newsletter

1. INVOICES: December invoices will go through Auto pay on Dec. 10th. I have attached printed invoices to the printed version of this newsletter. I know December can be tough so if you need a different date please let me know. My rent is due on the 15th.

2. COSTUMES: I am narrowing down choices and placing orders for our spring recital costumes. I’ve found a couple of bargains and am being creative with a few others. I’ve picked out some very funs songs for our 2nd semester dances.

3. Calendar dates to remember.

· Sat Dec. 9

o 1:00 -1;45 TIME CHANGE!!! Combined rehearsal for Prayers for the World

o 3:00 PERFORMANCE: Winter songs: Brookdale on Fairdale – 2251 East Crawford Street, actually on Crawford across from Quik Trip; - wear black leo, pink tights, I will have skirts, for young ones. See last week’s performance note for other items. If you’ve misplaced it, it’s on Band. One change, the Starlets will be wearing green skirts as some of the red skirts have gone missing.

· Sat Dec 16 – Winter Wonderland Recital – 10:30 am. In studio.

· Tue Dec 18- Jan 1 – Closed for Holiday Break

· Tue Jan 2 – Classes resume!

Sat Jan 6 – care home performance

4. Snowflake Sparkle our Elf brought Hershey’s kisses for all the dancers on Tuesday, on Wed she and a bear read books, and on Thursday she sat in the tree to get a better view of the dancers.

5. Please make sure your dancers’ name or initials are on their shoes. I have a lonely ballet shoe in the cubbies with no identification.

6. I know December can be very busy, if your dancer is not going to make it to class for some reason, please let me know. Our classes are small and it’s not always fun to be the only dancer in class. Visiting Grandparents are always welcome to watch classes!
